The hardware
platform for this project had the following parts:

soft key pad for dialing, checking for messages, speaker phone, volume
adjust…All were soft control keys

LCD display for dialed numbers and other messages
- Hook
switch
- 10/100
Mbps Ethernet LAN with two ports and bridge support
- Handset
and speaker for phone operation
The hardware
was built with a single chip solution for IP phones from a Fortune
Semiconductor company.
